Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities
Focuses on the coordinating internal teams and resources while working to understand client’s interest and needs
Develop structural technical specifications, plans, and details for projects such as power generation facilities, substations, transmission lines, solar sites, dams, canals, flood control projects, municipal water, wastewater, and pipelines
Planning, designing, and overseeing geotechnical aspects for projects both in the office and in the field
Be able to travel on field assignments as required. Field time is estimated at 20 and 40%
Qualification
Required
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
Minimum of 1 year related work experience
Active Engineering-In-Training (EIT) License
Preferred
Experience with geotechnical investigations, grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retaining walls
Prefer Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with Emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering
