The Executive Director, Technical Project Management will own the end-to-end delivery of a complex scientific data transformation program, coordinating multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end delivery of a complex scientific data transformation program (10+ parallel workstreams)
Run day-to-day execution: standups, dependency management, risk escalation, timeline control
Coordinate cross-functional technical teams (engineering, product, data, cloud, AI) + customer stakeholders
Design and document workflows & processes (LucidChart, Miro, Confluence) to create clarity where none exists
Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for real-time visibility and executive communication
Remove blockers aggressively and escalate risks same-day to maintain momentum
Qualification
Required
10+ years technical project/program management experience
Proven delivery of large, multi-workstream technical programs
Biopharma / life sciences project experience
Strong Agile delivery background (Scrum + Kanban)
Experience in process engineering
Experience managing cloud, data engineering, and AI-adjacent workstreams
Excellent customer-facing communication (can translate technical → non-technical)
Onsite 4–5 days/week in Cambridge, MA
