Sales Director

The Sales Director is responsible for driving profitable growth by leading and developing a team of outside sales professionals while executing strategic growth initiatives to increase market share.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, develop, and motivate field and inside sales teams across selling techniques, account planning, forecasting, CRM usage, reporting, and product knowledge
Set clear performance expectations, track progress, and drive results
Maintain strong market visibility through active coaching and customer engagement
Resolve complex or escalated customer issues
Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing sales talent
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and other internal partners
Promote and uphold a strong safety culture with a goal of zero incidents
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
Execute go-to-market strategies aligned with Operating and Value Creation Plans
Expand market share through existing and new product offerings
Develop and lead new account acquisition strategies
Elevate local sales planning, execution, and selling effectiveness
Analyze competitive positioning and market dynamics
Establish market goals for new business based on market opportunity and share
Develop accurate forecasts and manage the Salesforce pipeline
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs
Lead pricing and rebate strategies to ensure profitability

Required

5+ years of successful sales management experience

Experience using Salesforce.com to coach teams and drive performance
