Responsibilities

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPNs, wireless networks and firewalls

Optimize performance and ensure high availability of network resources

Monitor and update network monitoring tools and configurations

Administer servers (Windows, Linux), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and storage systems

Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and group policies

Support hybrid environments across on-premises and cloud platforms (Entra)

Work with Cisco ISE and Meraki switches and access points, SFDC, Deltek, Microsoft 365

Provision and manage cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, identity and security)

Identify and implement automation opportunities for infrastructure management

Support migration and optimization of workloads on-premise and in the cloud

Maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection and access controls

Support compliance with cybersecurity and data protection standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR)

Monitor logs, investigate anomalies and respond to security incidents

Partner closely with IT and DevOps teams to support business initiatives

Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated desktop and infrastructure issues

Document infrastructure changes, maintain diagrams and keep procedures current
