Trend research and concept development
Develop trend and inspiration boards
Perform market shopping
Communicate with overseas factories on wash, fabric, fit, etc
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure fit, timely execution, and design direction
Communicate with retail buyers when needed
Give direction to junior team members and ensure tech pack accuracy
Understand men's market as well and assist in category as needed
Oversee development calendar
Qualification
Required
13+ years of relevant women's denim design experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong understanding of wash processes, denim fabric qualities, and stretch levels
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop proficiency
Detail-oriented
Preferred
