Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs
Develop container management software to solve client challenges
Use technical skills to affect mission-forward change
Strengthen skills using the latest cloud technologies
Improve client environments with current container software for seamless orchestration
Support team in informing strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process
Recommend resources for clients to manage and securely adopt containers
Gain DevOps skills and experience while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms

Required

3+ years of experience as a platform or DevOps engineer supporting cloud-based applications in a professional work environment
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
Experience with AWS Cloud services and tools
Experience with GitHub Actions or CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
Experience with event streaming platforms, such as Kafka, Confluent, RedPanda, or AWS MKS
Experience in cloud-native application deployment, security best practices, and system integration
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree

Preferred

Experience supporting or modernizing financial systems
Experience in supporting a multi-cloud environment
Experience with Chaos and Site Reliability Engineering testing
Knowledge of Crossplane for Kubernetes-native infrastructure management
AWS, GCP, or Azure Associate or Professional level Certification
