Responsibilities
Research, design, develop, and test mechanical devices, focusing on airbag systems for automotive safety
Collaborate with the team to analyze customer design proposals and specifications to assess project feasibility regarding time and cost
Assist drafters in developing structural design using advanced engineering tools and software
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for effective product development
Engage in continuous learning and adaptation to the company's approach, prioritizing engineering judgment and maintaining a comprehensive development history
Qualification
Required
Proficient with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools
Strong ability to analyze, solve problems, and communicate effectively in a team environment
Proven experience in mechanical product development and an understanding of engineering software relevant to the field
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSME or similar) is mandatory, with relevant certifications as deemed appropriate
Minimum 7 years of overall experience in engineering, with 3+ years specifically in Airbag Design, at least 1 year in Curtain Airbag Design, and 3-5 years with OEM and/or Tier 1 automotive suppliers
