Project Manager - Mechanical
Persons Services Corp is a dynamic and rapidly expanding construction firm, proudly operating across the United States and the Caribbean. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for their Mechanical Division to lead complex mechanical construction projects with an emphasis on industrial process piping, plumbing systems, and HVAC installations.

Responsibilities
Lead mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality compliance
Coordinate with Pre-Construction and Estimating teams on project handoffs, scope evaluations, and the buyout process for mechanical systems and equipment
Develop and maintain detailed CPM schedules, identifying critical path activities and mitigating delays during tie-ins and commissioning
Monitor financial performance, manage change orders, and drive value engineering opportunities to optimize cost and performance
Oversee procurement of mechanical materials and equipment, maintaining quality, specification, and delivery standards
Supervise installation of mechanical systems including process piping, plumbing, and HVAC, ensuring code compliance and adherence to project specifications
Manage submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs in collaboration with design engineers and specialty consultants
Champion safety culture with focus on mechanical construction hazards such as confined spaces, hot work, and pressurized systems
Maintain comprehensive project documentation including as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and system records
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement within project teams while exemplifying Persons Services’ core values
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
5+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, process piping, and controls)
Proven ability to manage multiple mechanical projects concurrently
Skilled in equipment specifications, submittals, and commissioning processes
Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Project (or equivalent tools)
Effective leader with strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Experienced in prefabrication, modular assembly, and field installation methods
