Responsibilities
Plan, conduct, and moderate usability studies with clinicians and end users
Perform contextual inquiry and observational research in surgical environments
Execute use-related risk analysis and evaluate risk control effectiveness
Develop and maintain Usability Engineering File (UEF) documentation
Support regulatory usability documentation and submissions
Analyze usability data, identify root causes, and recommend design improvements
Support post-market usability issue identification and mitigation
Qualification
Required

Human Factors Engineering (FDA guidance, IEC 62366, ISO 14971)
Use-related risk analysis & documentation
User research, interviews, and contextual inquiry
Collaboration on medical device UI / UX design
Regulatory-focused documentation
BS in Human Factors, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field + 2 years experience, OR MS or higher with 0 years' experience
