They are seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for hotel guests, handling reservations, check-in/check-out processes, and providing information about the resort and local attractions.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, accurate, and efficient check-in, check-out, and reservation services to all guests and callers
Record reservations received verbally or in writing and enter them into the hotel computer system. Quote room rates and availability, and process or cancel reservations following established procedures
Answer all Front Desk telephone calls promptly, routing calls and providing assistance or information as needed. Communicate and coordinate closely with other departments, including Housekeeping, Group Sales, and VIP Services, to ensure guest needs are met
Process accurate cash and credit card transactions
Inform guests about all required information and answer questions regarding the resort and local area attractions. Promote the hotel/casino and all its services and facilities

Required

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and at least 1 month of guest service experience
Strong written, communication, and computer skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
A professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor
Requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a setting that may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise
