Responsibilities
Revise CADD drawings per engineering markups
Perform engineering support tasks under direct supervision (e.g. transmittals)
Learn and apply the corporate/client standard of drafting and engineering practices
Learn and properly use document management systems
Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work
Bring potential project-related problems and possible solutions to the attention of the responsible party
Travel out of town for short periods of time as required by projects and assignments
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in drafting & design is required
Experience with AutoCAD 2010 and newer is required
Fundamental understanding of drafting principles, geometry, and computer applications (Word, Excel, email)
Demonstrates ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with co-worker
Must be able to endure prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer for a minimum of 8 hours a day
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship
Preferred
MicroStation and 3D CAD preferred
Experience with Microstation preferred but not required
3D CADD experience preferred but not required
Expert-level proficiency with AutoCAD; familiarity with MicroStation and 3D modeling preferred
Understanding of industry standards (ANSI, ASCE, ASTM, ACI, NEC, IEEE, NFPA)
