Steptoe LLP is seeking a Senior Due Diligence Analyst to support their International Trade and Regulatory Compliance group. This role involves leading due diligence investigations, conducting risk analysis, and providing actionable intelligence to inform client decision-making.

Responsibilities

Lead due diligence and supply chain investigations, deploying expertise on using proprietary databases, investigative methodology and strategies

Conduct research and draft business risk analysis, forming conclusions and recommendations

Identify and assess risk issues of interest to clients and firm

Track assigned issues as subject matter expert, monitoring news, compiling news and analysis summaries, attending policy discussions and congressional hearings, producing client alerts when appropriate

Identify and draft thought leadership articles for publication on emerging risks

Review and provide guidance to junior analysts on research methodologies for due diligence investigation

Interact with clients to assess needs and provide support

Advise line manager on opportunities for innovation, new work products and operational efficiencies

Promote cross selling opportunities through outreach to Steptoe’s attorneys, increasing awareness of the unique, inhouse capabilities of the analytics team
