Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join a team as they build low Earth orbit satellites to deliver direct-to-device 5G connectivity. This role involves assisting in developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods and processes for sustaining existing products and introducing new ones.

Responsibilities

Assess new product concepts and designs for manufacturability and provide such assessment and recommendations to R&D/Product Engineering
Develop methods and processes to manufacture new products in the safest manner, at the desired quality standards, and at the lowest cost to meet projected demand in a timely manner
Conduct detailed process design, including layouts, tooling, fixturing, programming testing and documentation
Continuously improve current production methods using Six-Sigma methodologies and utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards

Required

1-3+ years of experience, with a preferred background in aerospace or automobile sectors

Willingness to support flex hours onsite
