Responsibilities
Lead a core product team: Manage, coach, and grow a group of high-performing engineers while keeping your finger on the pulse of technical work
Own delivery: Collaborate with product and design leads to scope and ship product initiatives that are customer-centered, fast, and reliable
Level up our systems: Continuously improve engineering processes from planning to observability to CI/CD to support rapid iteration and scale
Lead by example: Participate in code reviews, design conversations, and incident response to stay close to the craft
Build the team: Recruit, hire, and onboard top engineering talent as we grow the org 3x+ in the next 12 months
Shape culture: Foster a team environment grounded in ownership, speed, and empathy for each other and for our users
Qualification
Required
6+ years of engineering experience
3+ years of engineering management in fast-moving environments
Experience building and leading teams at early-stage startups
Ability to ship high-quality software under tight feedback loops
Strong technical leadership skills
Experience in high-autonomy, high-accountability environments
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in early-stage settings
Strong people skills and investment in helping others grow
Ability to move fast, stay scrappy, and prioritize impact
Preferred
Familiarity with TypeScript, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Pulsar, ClickHouse, Temporal, and LLMs
