Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy
Execute journal entries and assist with month end close
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
Prepare payroll tax returns accurately and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Prepare Sales and Use tax returns
Communicate directly with clients to resolve accounting issues
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience with experience with month-end close
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
Proficient in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
Familiarity with technical accounting concepts including debits & credits, account reconciliation, and payroll processing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
