Collaborate with staff to investigate the properties of sapphire fibers
Measure, polish, and test tips and fibers
Support research activities pertaining to performance improvements of sapphire fibers

Required

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
2 Years of Relevant Experience
Experience with fiber engineering and lasers; opto-mechanical skills desired
Programming knowledge, specifically Python and Labview
Willing to be hands-on to grow, polish, and test sapphire fiber
