Choose article topics selected from a pool

Research and write original Features

Pitch article topics to our Editorial team

Be a dedicated and consistent contributor to the site

Follow Collider’s general Editorial Guidelines while producing unique and high-quality content

Produce articles in a timely manner to ensure that the latest industry news and most interesting content are always available to Collider’s loyal readers

Work under tight deadlines and submit tasks on time

Have a working knowledge of Music and current events

Required

Educational Background in journalism or a related field

2 years of experience in producing entertainment and related content

In-depth familiarity with and fierce passion for the music industry, especially the latest Music

Familiarity with music marketing, social media virality (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.)

Experience covering events like Coachella, Lollapalooza, The Grammys, or SXSW

Connections with insiders and performers, and a history of conducting interviews with artists

Knowledge of platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Bandcamp

Have a working knowledge of Music and current events
