Responsibilities

Collaborate with faculty and researchers to design and execute experiments in microbiology, bacterial pathogenesis, optics, and materials science
Innovate healthcare solutions using engineering principles, with experience in in vivo mouse models
Analyze experimental data, contributing to research publications
Support the supervision and mentorship of undergraduate students
Participate in grant writing and contribute to the academic community

Qualification

Biomedical EngineeringExperimental DesignData AnalysisScientific WritingCommunication SkillsInterpersonal Skills

Required

Hold MD, MD/PhD or PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, Microbiology, or a related field such as Human health, Chemistry, Material Sciences, Biosciences, and Biomedical physics
Strong academic record and research background
Demonstrated proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible with working in both Stanford University and NJIT
At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position
