8+ years expMMD Services is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support a high-visibility data initiative focused on improving data clarity, consistency, and integrity across multiple systems. This role will play a key part in establishing foundational documentation and supporting cross-functional alignment as the organization evolves its data strategy.

Responsibilities
Perform advanced SQL analysis across multiple systems and datasets
Create and maintain a Data Dictionary to document core data elements and definitions
Improve data integrity, consistency, and accuracy through structured analysis and recommendations
Build and optimize tables, views, joins, and relationships within SQL Server
Partner with internal database and technical teams to support ongoing development efforts
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and standardize definitions
Work independently and help define future data and engineering needs
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in a Data Analyst / SQL Analyst capacity
Advanced SQL skills (SQL Server strongly preferred)
Proven experience creating or maintaining Data Dictionaries
Strong knowledge of relational data models and data integrity best practices
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working with both business and technical teams
Preferred
Consulting or project-based background
Exposure to backend systems, integrations, or APIs (conceptual understanding)
Familiarity with data architecture concepts (e.g., Medallion Architecture, data lakes/warehousing concepts)
Experience with Oracle or other enterprise databases
