Upstate Medical University is seeking an experienced and motivated Ambulatory Advanced Practice Provider to join their growing OB/GYN ambulatory practice. This full-time position focuses on providing comprehensive gynecologic and obstetrical care in a collaborative, patient-centered outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct annual gynecologic exams and preventive women’s health visits
Evaluate and manage problem-focused gynecologic visits
Provide routine and uncomplicated antepartum care in collaboration with OBGYN attending providers
Perform office-based procedures, including but not limited to Nexplanon and IUD placements and removals
Collaborate with OBGYN providers, nursing staff and interdisciplinary team
Educate and counsel patients regarding women’s health, contraception, pregnancy and wellness
Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently in EPIC

Required

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
NYS license
ACLS & BLS required
Current CPR
NCCPA Certification or NP ANCC
Prior experience in women's health is preferred
