Responsible for administrative support work for the Department
Manages and oversees all office support functions of the Police Department
Handles confidential materials
Conducts various administrative assignments in support of the Police Chief and Command staff within the Department
Qualification
Required
Graduation from High School, or equivalent
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years prior work experience in an administrative field
Ability to keyboard 60 words per minute with accuracy and to transcribe from dictation equipment
Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a valid Wisconsin drivers' license
Must not have been convicted of any felony or qualified misdemeanor that would prohibit the applicant from passing a background check to have access to the TIME or NLETS records system
Preferred
Associates degree in office management, administration, criminal justice, or related field preferred
Any combination of education and experience which in the sole discretion of the Village would demonstrate the ability to meet the required knowledge, skills and abilities for the position may also be considered
