Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and support Windows Server environments
Manage and support Active Directory (user accounts, groups, GPOs, permissions)
Monitor system health, performance, and availability across servers and services
Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and upgrades
Support Microsoft SQL Server environments, including basic administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Assist with database backups, restores, and performance monitoring
Support business-critical applications that rely on SQL Server and Windows-based infrastructure
Provision, modify, and decommission user accounts and access rights
Ensure appropriate security controls and adherence to least-privilege principles
Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated user issues
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system-level issues
Respond to system alerts and incidents to minimize downtime
Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex problems
Assist in implementing and maintaining system security best practices
Apply security patches and updates in accordance with IT policies
Support audits, documentation, and compliance requirements
Create and maintain system documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles
Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, automation, and support processes
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support
Strong experience with Windows Server administration
Hands-on experience supporting Active Directory
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (administration, troubleshooting, backups)
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments (Windows 10/11)
