Responsibilities
Maintain configuration management (CM) files, including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records
Evaluate proposed product design changes to assess their impact on overall systems and functionality
Coordinate and manage modification records to ensure proper control and tracking
Create change orders and prepare documentation for authorization and approval by both the company and subcontractors
Enforce and uphold established configuration management policies and procedures
Manage and maintain system baselines using automated CM tools
Continuously track and update project change requests, impact assessments, incident reports, and change notices
Participate in customer meetings, project kick-offs, configuration reviews, and production discussions as required
Ensure customer requirements are implemented and review accounting changes for compliance with CM policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business or an IT-related field
2–4 years of relevant professional experience (Master's degree may substitute)
Must hold an Interim or Active Secret clearance or be eligible to obtain one
ITIL certification or experience with ITIL processes
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively to maintain business productivity
Familiarity with configuration management software processes
Solid proficiency in data management practices
Hands-on experience with identity and access management
Proven experience using configuration management software tools
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Proficient in Windows-based applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience working in a data center environment
Ability to adapt to ambiguity and shifting priorities
