Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies
Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify testing needs
Manage and maintain automation tools, environments, and test data
Execute automated tests, document results, and report bugs
Integrate automation processes within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Monitor test coverage and optimize automation efficiency regularly
Support ongoing improvement of testing practices to ensure high-quality software releases

Required

Proficient in Java for developing automated test scripts
Hands-on experience with Playwright for Java for web automation
Familiarity with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium)
Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM)
Experience with build tools and dependency management (Maven)
Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured
Strong understanding of software testing principles and SDLC
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites
Skills in debugging and troubleshooting automation scripts
Effective communication and documentation abilities
Collaboration with developers, QA, and business stakeholders
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
Experience with requirements analysis and translating them into test cases
