The intern will shadow paralegals, interview work group members, and participate in various legal tasks to gain practical experience in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Shadowing paralegals and working independently with guidance from mentors

Interviewing members of various work groups to understand large firm operations

Document coding and tagging in Relativity, or other related e-Discovery tasks

Utilizing databases and electronic document management systems

Supervised preparation of deposition kits and trial exhibits

Summarizing testimony and case records, itemizing damages, and assisting with discovery responses

Observing hearings, trials, oral arguments, or viewing video-taped depositions
