As the Senior Architect | Project Manager, you will lead projects from design through construction within the Higher Education team, utilizing your expertise in project management and architectural design.
Consulting
Responsibilities
Manage clients, project staff, and consultants through the project process on multiple complex projects
Utilize operational management best practices, including workload forecasting, resource planning, and project management software
Manage and develop project documents as per client, regulatory, and industry standards
Lead quality assurance and quality control process for assigned projects
Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including identifying and recruiting high-quality staff with leadership potential
Create and foster relationships with key clients while managing client expectations
Maintain project budgets to ensure profitability
Apply interpersonal communication skills to build strong working relationships, resolve conflicts, and motivate the project team
Collaborate across other disciplines with internal and external team members
Promote a workplace culture that is consistent with BHDP’s Collective Ambition
Qualification
Required
A professional, accredited degree in Architecture
10+ years' experience
Professional registration
5+ years' experience leading higher education projects and clients
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated project management and staff leadership success
A drive to achieve
Preferred
Highly competent Deltek VantagePoint (or equivalent)
