Director, AI Product and Technology Marketing Lead

Responsibilities

Spearhead cross-functional teams to launch and promote AI products and research & development initiatives
Tight alignment with internal stakeholders across business units and functions on objectives and desired outcomes
Facilitate collaboration across engineering, demo team, marketing, business development, product management, and third-party developers, partners for planning and execution
Develop innovative ideas and concepts to showcase Qualcomm’s products and innovations in engaging and experiential ways
Overseeing AI marketing budget management
Communicating complex AI concepts and marketing strategy to multiple audiences including but not limited to OEM customers, enterprise and industrial organizations, tech companies, developers, channel partners, media and analysts, investors, and regulators
Lead and drive potential customer/partner engagements
Coordinate educational campaigns and events targeting the AI research community, including trade shows, workshops, and digital outreach
Serve as a spokesperson and thought leader, articulating Qualcomm’s AI vision and technical advancements to both technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, business development, PR, legal, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing and educational strategies

Required

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience
OR Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 10+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience
OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience

Preferred

Product marketing experience
Excellent program management, planning, and organizational skills
Knowledge or experience with generative AI, AI frameworks and runtimes, AI developer tools, and developer marketing
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment
Effective relationship-building and influencing skills
Ability to work and lead in a highly collaborative team environment and build alignment/consensus across technical and non-technical teams
Self-starter, resourceful, and able to effectively operate in a complex, fast-paced environment
