Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of up to 12 engineers and technicians across multiple shifts
Develop and optimize injection molding processes using scientific molding principles
Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Tooling, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical challenges
Oversee setup and operation of molding equipment, robots, and control systems
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
Maintain process documentation and control systems for high-volume production
Support hiring, training, performance reviews, and succession planning

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
Proven experience leading technical teams in a production environment
Expertise in controlled molding processes, engineering-grade resins, and traceability systems
Strong understanding of scientific and decoupled molding principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred

AIM (American Injection Molding Institute) certification
Experience with Moldex3D or similar simulation software
Knowledge of auxiliary equipment such as thermolators, hot manifold systems, and dew-point meters
