Responsibilities

Lead and develop Quality Inspectors and Technicians, ensuring consistent application of inspection methods, standards, and training

Set daily inspection priorities aligned with production schedules, risk, and customer requirements

Ensure compliance with inspection plans, control plans, ITPs, and ISO, customer, and regulatory requirements

Review inspection results and NCRs, serving as the escalation point for quality issues impacting production or shipment

Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions; analyze quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities

Maintain and improve inspection processes, standard work, and measurement systems while promoting a culture of defect prevention and accountability

Required

Previous experience supervising employees within a manufacturing, production, industrial OR military environment

Working knowledge of inspection methods, drawings, specifications

Experience with NCRs, corrective actions, and root cause analysis

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications

Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

Preferred

Experience in engineered-to-order, fabrication, machining, welding, or assembly environments

Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems

Experience implementing control plans, ITPs, and process audits

Proficiency with ERP, QMS, or quality data systems
