SDR/Account Executive
Performant Capital is a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on investing in high-growth, bootstrapped software and technology-enabled services businesses. They are actively recruiting talented and driven Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives to join their network of high-growth SaaS portfolio companies, with responsibilities including pipeline generation and managing the full sales cycle.
Responsibilities
Conduct outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn) to generate qualified meetings
Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders
Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery calls
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Work closely with Account Executives to align outreach strategies
Own and manage the full sales cycle from discovery to negotiation and close
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
Deliver compelling product demos and presentations
Collaborate with SDRs, marketing, and customer success teams
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Qualification
Required
1–3+ years of experience in a sales or business development role (preferably in SaaS or tech)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Coachable, self-motivated, and goal-driven
Experience with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms is a plus
5–7+ years of experience as an Account Executive in a B2B SaaS environment
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in mid-market or enterprise sales
Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
Proficient in CRM systems and modern sales tech stack
Comfortable working in fast-paced, growing companies
