Strategic Customer Success Manager

Responsibilities

Lead business planning by building and inspecting a strategic roadmap for every customer that defines how they should consume and adopt Paychex products to meet their desired outcomes. Be the trusted advisor with executive leadership, business owners and technical teams while seamlessly working with our account teams to extend Paychex reputation and position as a vendor. Lead the conversation with IT and Service Support to ensure expediate troubleshooting and resolve for technical issues. With limited direction, the Strategic CSM will work closely with Business Owners and Executive Leaders to anticipate concerns or challenges and proactively implement or create best practices to address them. Utilize assessment tools and reporting to analyze opportunities to support client business growth. Use discretion and judgment to decide on product and service recommendations to Executive Leaders to meet varied business needs
Drive customer retention and adoption through inspecting adoption issues and running specific plans to increase adoption health where required to ensure that all customers are successful with Paychex. Deliver value-based outcomes by tying adoption health to value of the solution and ensure value is being delivered so executives can see the return and justify their investment
Provide proactive and highly engaged contact across the post sales customer lifecycle for Paychex most valuable accounts. Upsell Expansion – Work to identify expansion opportunities for core products and ensure we realize the expansion sales potential within your portfolio. Cross Sell Referrals- Partner with Sales to identify expansion opportunities for noncore products and refer them to the appropriate sales counterpart with an assigned quota

Qualification

Required

5 - 7+ years experience in customer success in roles where customers growth was achieved primarily through continuously delivering value
Proven ability to be a business advisor across all Paychex products
Experience building customer relationships across organizations from C-level to end-user

Bachelor's Degree in business-related discipline
