Aiken Technical College is seeking Industrial Maintenance Adjunct Instructors. The role involves providing instruction in industrial maintenance, managing classroom activities, and ensuring course materials are up-to-date and effective.

Responsibilities

Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development
Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for course taught
Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi
Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course
Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course
Supervision of students

Required

Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or a related industrial discipline
Five (5) years of direct experience in the industrial maintenance field
Knowledge and experience as a millwright, maintenance mechanic, electronic technician (industrial), plan engineer, maintenance foreman, industrial engineer, maintenance machinist, machine repairer, machine rebuilder, or engineering lead worker
