Nesco Resource has partnered with a leading healthcare management organization to hire a Director of Internal Audit. This role is responsible for directing the planning, performance, and reporting of audits focused on operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the internal audit function and annual audit work plan

Plan, execute, and report on operational and regulatory compliance audits

Prepare audits subject to OIG and OMIG review

Collaborate with Compliance Officers on compliance-related audits

Oversee medical record and coding audits; provide feedback and education to physicians

Prepare audit reports for Executive Management and the CFO

Serve as a liaison with physicians and cross-functional departments

Participate in risk assessments and corrective action planning

Lead, mentor, and develop internal audit staff
