Senior Administrative Assistant
Texas State University is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide support in administrative matters within the Institutional Compliance department. The role involves organizing case correspondence, maintaining confidential files, and performing general administrative duties such as managing calendars and coordinating training.

Responsibilities
Responsible for organizing and tracking all case correspondence, maintaining confidential files, tracking case timelines, drafting responses for open records request, and preparing quarterly and annual reports
General administrative responsibilities: Open Office and serves as front line reception in highly professional manner. Answer multi-line phone, screen calls, take and deliver detailed messages, maintains the office and Director’s calendars, organizes trainings, and schedules meetings
Addresses and resolves routine problems with the business or academic unit; apply internal and external policies and procedures during the resolution of problems
Create routine correspondence (i.e., letters, emails, etc)
Utilize technology to develop, enhance, and maintain web sites, reporting programs and applications
Assist with creating training content, departmental marketing, and promotional materials, and coordinating awareness campaigns
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support work
Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize deadlines and projects
Experience with fiscal and/or budget management
Advanced level experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive, confidential records and files
Ability to coordinate a variety of work activities and work as part of a team
Preferred
Bachelor's degree with Administrative Assistant experience
Three years of experience in secretarial or administrative support work
Experience as an administrative assistant in a higher education setting
