Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Developer to join a Federal Program in Chantilly, VA. The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for development, maintenance, and testing of microservices built on the MEAN stack.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, maintain, and document high-quality software solutions
Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative and effective solutions
Continuously learn and apply new technologies to enhance software capabilities
Manage and maintain corporate software libraries and development tools
Diagnose and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application design and usage
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly across various levels of the organization
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to peers
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
5–7 years of experience designing and developing web-based applications
Proficiency with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js)
Experience developing RESTful web services
Familiarity with microservice-based architectures
Understanding of secure system design and implementation
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
