IAM Workflow Analyst

The IAM Workflow Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability for a growing IAM operations team.

Responsibilities

Oversee intake of requests through ServiceNow, ensuring proper categorization and prioritization
Triage and route requests to appropriate teams based on established SLAs and workflows
Monitor queue health and escalate issues to maintain service quality and timeliness
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in ServiceNow to track request volumes, SLA compliance, and queue performance
Provide regular reporting to IAM leadership on trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
Use data insights to recommend process enhancements and automation opportunities
Assess current workflows and identify inefficiencies or gaps
Develop detailed process maps, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational risk
Collaborate with stakeholders to align workflows with business objectives
Identify opportunities for automation and assist in tool selection and implementation
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for workflows and intake processes
Monitor and report on workflow performance, providing actionable insights
Attends the weekly BU liaison call and takes notes/action items for any issues
Serve as a liaison between IAM teams and business units to improve request handling and communication
Conduct training sessions to ensure adoption of new processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years of experience in process analysis, workflow design, or business operations
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow intake and queue management
Proficiency in workflow tools and process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience with automation platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Power Automate)
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
Familiarity with IAM or IT security workflows
