Responsibilities
Manage all phases of building automation projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors
Track budgets, schedules, change orders, and documentation
Ensure project compliance with safety standards and industry regulations
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, engineers, and contractors
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and company leadership
Qualification
Required
Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems
Experience managing projects exceeding $500K
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office
Experience with building automation or controls systems (e.g., DDC, BAS, Niagara, Tridium) is a plus, but not required
Experience as an MEP Project Manager in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing construction will be considered highly transferable
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. Equivalent experience and/or relevant certifications will also be considered
Ability to walk job sites for extended periods and navigate uneven ground and active construction conditions
Ability to climb ladders and stairs safely and frequently
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed to perform job tasks
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions typical of construction and building environments
Use of standard office equipment (computer, phone) and basic hand tools when required
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) — hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe footwear
