They are seeking a Finance/Budget Analyst II to review and process financial transactions, prepare statements and reports, and ensure compliance with UCF fiscal policy.

Responsibilities

Oversight of financial clinical operations at PT Clinic and CSD clinic, such as cash deposit reconciliation, card statement approval, clinical compliance, and ensuring cost are accurate and reportable
Create and deliver monthly faculty reports showing their funding and budgets in the to each faculty member in their assigned cost center
Monitor budgetary variances and make corrections as appropriate
Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy of transactions
Prepare costing allocations for payroll funding and corrections to payroll funding
Identify appropriate funding sources for various HR transactions
Approve, deny, or return Workday spend transactions
Ensure compliance on all financial transactions or related financial transactions in the accounting system to the assigned departments

Required

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6)

Preferred

Experience in higher education or public sector finance
Familiarity with Workday or similar financial systems
Experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, or a related field
Skilled in using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and charts
