Responsibilities

Timely and accurately establishes suppliers in the myUFL accounting system
Initiates contact with suppliers to ensure the information provided is accurate and complete and verifies suppliers’ banking information
Processes requested corrections, departmental verifications, international supplier requests, wireless device allowances, etc
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the myUFL supplier file system and the Supplier Portals
Monitors the Supplier Helpdesk phones and MyMarketplace supplier emails to answer all questions and help resolve issues
Walks suppliers through the Supplier Portals
Works closely with the entire Disbursements team to ensure timely supplier payment
Offers support in resolving issues with payments, vouchers or invoices
Collaborates with Procurement, UFIT, and the myUF Marketplace team to resolve supplier sync issues and communicates ideas that have potential to make processes more efficient
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of general accounts transaction experience
Timely and accurately establishes suppliers in the myUFL accounting system
Initiates contact with suppliers to ensure the information provided is accurate and complete and verifies suppliers' banking information
Processes requested corrections, departmental verifications, international supplier requests, wireless device allowances, etc
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the myUFL supplier file system and the Supplier Portals
Monitors the Supplier Helpdesk phones and MyMarketplace supplier emails to answer all questions and help resolve issues

Preferred

Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
Knowledge of basic arithmetic, office procedures and practices; and of basic filing practices
Ability to reconcile fiscal records
Ability to maintain fiscal records
Ability to compile fiscal data
Ability to work independently
Ability to review fiscal data for accuracy and completeness
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to an accounting system
