Responsibilities

Enhance the robustness of Ecommerce and Retail freight reporting to improve the visibility of key metrics and performance indicators for stakeholders
Update existing freight reporting from monthly to weekly cadence
Document processes, sources of data and calculation of freight metrics to ensure common understanding of performance drivers
Participate in monthly Accounting Close duties (preparation & submission of ledger entries) as well as accrual process
Creation of weekly financial reporting model that will improve clarity of factors driving performance and facilitate informed decision making by senior management
Exhibit a sound understanding of Ralph Lauren’s freight & transportation business and interdependencies (eg. volume, mix, rate) that impact distribution expenses
Ability to improve analytical & financial reporting tools and business practices
Recommend actionable steps that could be implemented to improve robustness, timeliness & clarity of data
Ability to interface with cross functional specialists to learn about the strategic and competitive factors that impact Distribution Center operations and financial results
Experience managing a project and enhancing written and oral communication skills working with individuals at different management levels
Ability to participate in community service events that reinforce Ralph Lauren’s culture of supporting others and reinforcing inclusion and fairness

Required

Attend college full-time in the United States and be entering your final semester or year of undergraduate studies with a graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027
Authorized to work in the United States
Able to work in an in-person or hybrid workplace environment arrangement
Available the entire duration of the 10-week internship and reside within a commutable distance to one of our office locations (NY, NJ, NC). A housing stipend will be provided to help with travel and accommodations

Strong writing and math skills; retail math a plus
