Network Engineer Intern - Summer 2026
KnitWell Group is a specialty retail operating company comprising iconic brands in America. The Network Engineer Intern will gain hands-on experience in maintaining and administering corporate and store networks, including designing solutions, troubleshooting, and reporting network status to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Designing and implementing new network solutions
Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
Arranging scheduled upgrades
Investigating faults in the network
Reporting network status to key stakeholders
Exposure to an on-call rotation
Qualification
Required
Junior or senior (Class of 2026 and 2027)
Must show a sense of urgency, being able to perform and multitask under pressure
Ability to act independently to resolve problems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements
Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
Time management skills as well as the ability to be flexible and creative
Resume and portfolio (portfolios only needed for Design Applications)
Available June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026

Preferred
Major in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is preferred
Experience with the following applications and systems are preferred: Cisco Switches, Routers, and Firewalls
AWS Cloud Services
Cisco/Meraki MX appliances and MR wireless access points
Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network authentication and device administration
F5 Big-Ip load balancers
SolarWinds and ThousandEyes monitoring platforms
