They are seeking an intern for their Procurement department to assist with cost analysis, pricing understanding, and collaboration with various functions to drive cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities
Be responsible for the cost analysis and cost understanding of main bought-in products
Ensure the understanding of component pricing within the organization
Assist Program Purchasing and Commodity Leads to understand costs associated with quality / part design / supply chain
Support innovative, cost-conscious solutions together with Purchasing, Engineering, Sales and other program functions
Write contracts for bought-in products and responsible for creating Purchase Orders and Scheduling Agreement
Drive use of cost estimation tools e.g. through training of Buyers worldwide
Develop cost reduction ideas through close collaboration with different functions within the organization
Generate total landed costs improvements through initialization of workshops at suppliers
Identify and execute cost optimizations within the commodities
Understand the tooling cost for bought-in components
Execute tooling audits and evaluate deviation between invoiced and KT estimated cost
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's with a focus in Purchasing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics
Business Experience in the Automotive Industry will be preferred
Knowledge in Value-, Design- and Price Analysis
Ideally Software Skills in Excel, ERP Systems - SAP, E-Matrix; Sharepoint, etc
Professional competencies required: Learning on the Fly, Compassion, Dealing with Ambiguity, Drive for Results, Organization
