Sr. Electrical Engineer (32302)

Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and oversight on some of the most advanced industrial facilities in the world
Oversee designer work
Lead project teams
Perform quality reviews of design packages
Prepare technical specifications and construction documents
Ensure alignment between drawings and specifications
Act as the Electrical discipline lead or Quality Control reviewer
Interact directly with clients, owners, and contractors
Support construction activities on-site
Participate in proposals to identify solutions to problems clients didn’t even know they had
Recommend best practices
Improve processes
Lead functional teams
Work independently
Qualification
Required
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Arizona (or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
At least 12 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems
Electrical design experience for semiconductor or mission critical facilities
Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards
Extensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components, such as switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc
Experience with power system modeling software
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Team lead experience
Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Tempe, AZ
Preferred
Senior technical leadership experience
Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams
