Responsibilities
Coordinate full A to Z ocean import and export shipments
Manage bookings, pricing, documentation, tracking, and billing
Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and reliable service
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and keep them updated throughout the process
Communicate with carriers and overseas agents to keep shipments on track
Prepare and review documents including BOLs, invoices, and arrival notices
Track shipments through final delivery and resolve any issues quickly
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate costing and timely invoicing
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of hands-on ocean freight experience in a freight forwarding environment
Strong customer service skills with a genuine focus on client satisfaction
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
Able to manage shipments independently from start to finish
Solid understanding of pricing, carriers, and vendor requirements
Strong attention to detail and comfort with operational processes
Preferred
Air freight knowledge is a plus
