Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain internal tools, platforms, and services that enable scalable management of deployment domains

Analyze existing operational procedures (deployment, configuration, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, etc.) and apply them to a complex multi-environment setting looking to improve speed, consistency, and reduce manual work

Apply SRE principles to ensure high availability, performance, and recoverability of our core services. This includes building better alerting, monitoring, and self-healing capabilities

Integrate security best practices directly into operations tools and workflows to ensure all environments meet security and compliance standards consistently and automatically

Work closely with software development, DevOps, and Release Management teams to understand their operational needs and deliver solutions that streamline their workflows and free up their time for core development

Write and maintain scripts and applications in Python and Node.js to automate processes and enhance cloud operations
