New Grad, Entry LevelConnect Search, LLC is seeking an Internal Auditor / Internal Controls Analyst to assist leadership in enhancing and monitoring the organization’s internal control environment. This role is responsible for supporting accurate financial reporting and driving operational efficiency while collaborating with various cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Control testing and evaluation: Conduct routine testing and walkthroughs of key internal controls across various operational areas, including finance, sales, and operational workflows (such as inventory-related processes)
Documentation: Prepare and maintain current process documentation—such as narratives, flowcharts, and testing procedures—under the direction of senior team members
Audit support: Assist with preparing for and carrying out internal and external audits by compiling, organizing, and providing required documentation
Remediation tracking: Help monitor identified control deficiencies and track the progress of corrective actions taken by management
Risk assessment: Participate in risk assessment activities and contribute to identifying potential control gaps or opportunities to strengthen controls
Reporting: Support the creation of audit reports by drafting clear, concise summaries of observations, conclusions, and recommendations
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization—including accounting, finance, and operations—to resolve issues and reinforce effective control practices
Professional standards: Uphold high standards of professionalism, objectivity, and ethical conduct
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or another relevant business discipline
Entry-level applicants with related coursework or internship experience are welcome
Advanced Excel
Preferred
Familiarity with ERP software (such as SAP, NetSuite, or Epicor) is advantageous
