Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals (2–3 direct reports), fostering growth and development
Analyze and report on WIP, costing, and inventory to support operational and financial decision-making
Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost analysis
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for management review
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–7 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
2–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong knowledge of WIP, costing, and inventory accounting
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
CPA preferred but not required
