The role involves evaluating new project opportunities, performing due diligence, and partnering with the internal pre-construction team to develop proposals and bid packages.

Responsibilities
Act as the first line of evaluation for new project opportunities
Perform initial project due diligence and vet projects before they enter the pipeline
Partner closely with the internal pre-construction team (strong existing engine in place)
Support the development of proposal and bid packages
Help position us to win EPC work at the bid level
Over time, build and scale the BD function as the company grows
Qualification
Required
Must be located east of Mississippi
Experience in Solar EPC (DG or Utility-scale) strongly preferred
Strong commercial and analytical mindset; comfortable assessing risk, scope, and viability
Not a pure sales profile; this is a strategic BD and project qualification role
Ability to lead front-end project evaluation and support bid strategy
Experience performing initial project due diligence and vetting projects before they enter the pipeline
Ability to partner closely with the internal pre-construction team
Experience supporting the development of proposal and bid packages
Ability to help position the company to win EPC work at the bid level
Ability to build and scale the BD function as the company grows
Willingness to travel ~50%

Experience on larger projects acceptable
