They are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Summer Intern to support design and development activities within their Medical Device R&D team, offering hands-on experience in medical device development.

Responsibilities
Assist with electrical design activities, including schematics, component selection, and design updates
Support development and assembly of prototype medical device hardware
Perform electrical, functional, and performance testing of prototype designs
Set up and operate test equipment; collect and analyze test data
Document test methods, results, and conclusions in technical reports
Troubleshoot and help resolve design or test issues under engineer guidance
Maintain organized design files, test records, and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional R&D team members (mechanical, software, quality)
Follow applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements during development and testing
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of electrical design principles and familiarity with schematic capture tools or circuit simulation software (from classes or projects)
Hands-on experience through labs or projects in building and testing electrical systems, with the ability to document results clearly
Currently enrolled as a rising junior or senior at an accredited college or university
Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering
Preferred
Pursuing a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
