Office Coffee Sales Leader
Java House is revolutionizing the beverage industry with their innovative cold brew products. The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and leading the strategic growth of the B2B coffee program, focusing on expanding customer bases and driving revenue growth while building high-performing sales teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans for all office coffee sales employees and channel growth
Oversee the daily operations and business development efforts, including key market metrics and expansion into new markets
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and key results areas (KRAs) and identify opportunities for individual and team improvement
Develop customer growth pipelines, sales plans, and category management
Monitor market trends and competitive activity to guide strategic decisions
Manage the OCS channels sales budgeting, forecasting, and revenue growth
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed all goals including revenue, and new accounts
Build, train, and develop a high-performing sales team
Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to ensure brand alignment and seamless customer experience once onboarded
Negotiate and close large-scale contracts with corporate clients
Ensure team compliance with company policies, CRM best practices, and customer service standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required (Business, Marketing or related degree preferred); MBA is preferred
10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the food and beverage industry, CPG, or an industry focused on innovation and new business development
5+ years of managing large regional or national sales force
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and coaching sales teams to success
Data-driven decision making with strong analytical abilities
Ability to travel as needed for business needs: client meetings, market development, interviews, etc
Leadership skills developing and growing an organization
Strong analytical and strategic thinking
Effectively working with others, especially other functions
Strong problem solving and solution orientation skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Skilled in CRM and lead generation platforms and sales analytics platforms
Solid interpersonal skills to engage potential customers; especially specific to persuasion and negotiation
Ability to balance short-term wins with long-term strategic goals
